www.patreon.com/A020 ;Just as Nepgear was about to black out, a sudden strong force grasped her hand above the surface and before she knew it she felt herself being carried above the swamp, her eyes still unable to really see anything.
"Now my mind is playing tricks on me...is this what passing out feels like?"
She felt herself land on solid ground with a sudden thud along with somebody wiping the mud away from her face and mouth, allowing Nepgear to suck in some much needed air as she gasped. The girl's ears were ringing and she was still covered in mud and wet all over, but she was safe.
"W-who...w-what?" Nepgear slowly opened her eyes to find a smiling Uni, clad in her transformed HDD state with glowing green eyes.
"Jeez Nepgear, I leave you alone for one hour and look what happens." Uni winked, "Its a good thing you have GPS on your N-gear~."
Relief washed over Nepgear's body and mind as she smiled, lunging forward and hugging the Lastation Goddess, now her savior. The warm rain continued to fall, washing a bit more of the muck off of Nepgear's hair and face. Normally rain would be an annoyance but at this point the Planeptune girl almost felt like dancing in it.
"You owe me one Nepgear...maybe another nice trip to that mall in Planeptune like last time would make us even." Uni smirked. "Or maybe you could clean out my guns for me?"
Nepgear rolled her eyes and smiled. "Y-yeah s-sure! Whatever you need Aha...hah..."
Uni became a blinding flash of light as she reverted to her normal human form clad in her cute black dress as she quickly took Nepgear by the arm. "Come on, I'll take you back to Planeptune tower so I can clean you up."
Nepgear smiled. "Y-yeah.t-wait...y-you want to clean me up!?"
Uni blushed and stammered as she entered tsundere mode. "I-its not like I! ah..." The girl averted her gaze from Nepgear. "I could have worded that better aha..."
"Noire would be proud." The thought made Nepgear smile as they walked away from the swamp together. Nepgear had quite the thrilling story to tell to Histoire and Neptune once she returned...along with a lesson learned.
