www.patreon.com/A020Despite her best efforts Nepgear was unable to pull her arms away from the thick mud they were submerged in, every centimeter of movement required a large amount of effort. Nepgear gasped as the mud cupped her chin. "I-it feels like its grabbing onto my face!..." The young goddess winced as rain droplets began to impact all around as the dark ominous clouds seemed to grow darker, just as the poor girl's hope of escape began to fade.
"Uni! anyone! help!"
Nepgear gulped, if she didn't get some kind of help soon, she might go under. The goddesses of Gamindustri were stronger than normal humans but still required things like being able to breath, if she submerged she would be doomed like any normal girl.
"Somebody! HELP!"
The thought was rebuilding the hanging dread within the girl's mind as questions flew through it. "Will anyone find me? What would Nepgear and Histoire do if I disappeared? What about my robots? What would happen to Planeptune? Would Uni ever be ok...or Neptune for that matter?" She wished anyone was here right now...well, anyone except Underling maybe. A bubble exploded in front of Nepgear's face...the bog was marking her as its prize as she continued to sink.
The rainwater only agitated the bog which made it impossible for the girl to float in the marshy mud. Nepgear took a deep breath as the mud overtook her mouth and was quickly threatening her nose.
"Help! ANY-" Her cry was cutoff as a bubble exploded, causing some of the mud to get into Nepgear's mouth, followed quickly by her spitting it back out. It was at this time that Nepgear remembered something she had heard about before...something that she may be experiencing right this moment.
"T-this must be...Quicksand!!!"
